Biography

Using his talents and inspirations as a musician, composer and producer, Mikey Mac is delivering compositions rich in complex melodic structures and rhythmic grooves, redefining genres for all multimedia platforms as well as TV and film.

In the initial development stages of his musical journey, Mike devoted himself to studying classical and jazz genres, in addition to contemporary music and continues to be a student and admirer of these diverse genres today. Mike began pursuing his musical career working in the semi-pro circuit of Memphis and other major metropolitan cities across the South, Midwest and beyond. He started developing his studio experience in his teenage years working in some of Memphis’ finest recording facilities including Ardent studios (Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn).

Never one to rest on his laurels, Mike’s ever evolving style keeps him busy writing and recording new material in an effort to take his musical contributions to the next level.
